Our Board members serve as vital support to achieve the goals of Perfect, Inc. They come from diverse backgrounds and fields but are connected by their passion for the advancement of women who’ve been incarcerated.


Lauren Hendricks

Lauren Hendricks is a Digital Sales Representative at Microsoft where she serves as technology strategists for Demand Response in the Dallas, Texas area. Lauren loves that this role takes Microsoft’s technology and resources directly to enterprises and lives out Microsoft’s mission to “Empower every person on the planet to achieve more.”

With a background in communications and marketing, Lauren received her bachelor’s degree from Hampton University. A DMV transplant for a few years, Lauren is still involved with volunteer and community efforts in the DC Metropolitan area. Passionate about youth development and empowering young and seasoned women, Lauren spends her time empowering the community through her work with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. a

Lauren is most excited to be a board member of the illustrious, Perfect, Inc. organization to support, encourage and empower women on their new and destined journey in society. Originally from Austin, Texas – Lauren is a lover of real tacos and despises DMV traffic.

Jabari Garrett

Jabari Garrett is an Information Technology (IT) professional with over 20 years of experience. Jabari has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Math and Computer Science and has a master's degree in Computer Science. Jabari’s primary focus has been application/systems development, but has in-depth experience in many other areas of IT. Jabari has spent much of his career developing large scale applications to support various Department of Defense (DOD) clients.

In addition to developing applications, Jabari has architected several enterprise applications supporting millions of users. He has vast depth in multiple technologies enabling him to design systems to meet his heterogeneous client’s requirements. These experiences have allowed him to participate in foreign and domestic markets. In 2008 Jabari became Executive Director of The JCTS Group. The JCTS Group has been successful in streamlining the business processes of several clients in various industries.

Perfect, Inc. is fortunate to have his expertise on our board. Jabari committed to being on the board of Perfect, Inc. because he truly believes that everyone who's been incarcerated deserves the opportunity to get on the right path. "Some mistakes or bad decisions shouldn't totally change the trajectory of the remainder of someone's life". He enjoys partnering with Alyson and the Perfect Inc. team to help women get assistance when being released from incarceration and to assist them to get their lives back on the right track.

Rachel Jollie

Rachel Jollie is the Treasurer for Perfect, Inc. and a research assistant in social and economic policy at Abt Associates, an independent research organization. Rachel graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology focused on the criminal justice system in the United States. Rachel loves her work at Abt Associates where she works on projects related to homeless services and child maltreatment prevention, but since graduating has been most passionate about getting involved in criminal justice reform and supporting people affected by the criminal justice system.

Through Services Never Sleeps, a non-profit organization connecting professionals in the greater Washington DC area to other local nonprofits doing amazing work, Rachel met Alyson and fell in love with the Perfect, Inc.’s mission to advocate for formerly incarcerated women. Rachel believes employment is often a crucial part of obtaining stability and empowering women to live the lives they want to live. She is excited to work for an organization that provides the necessary supports to women after incarceration where our criminal justice system has fallen short.
